SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
San Miguel de Allende is an icon of Mexico. Considered one of the most picturesque towns in the country, it was recognized in 2008, next to the Sanctuary of Jesus of Atotonilco, as a World Heritage Site. And in 2017, San Miguel de Allende was named the best city in the world by ‘Travel + Leisure’ magazine, for its quality service, friendliness, cleanliness and mobility, as well as its cultural and architectural contribution to Mexico’s identity.
HUASCA DE OCAMPO
Less than 2 hours from Mexico City is the charming town of Huasca de Ocampo, a place where tranquility and peace are a thing of everyday, so much so that its name in Nahuatl means “place of delight and joy”. This place is home to many of the benefit haciendas founded by Romero de Terrero, Count of Regla, who was the richest man of his time. This peaceful town is home to many ecotourism activities as well as the famous Basaltic Prisms: very particular rock formations that exist in very few parts of the world, which you can admire either from a suspended bridge 40m height or from the bottom of the lake.
TAXCO, GUERRERO

Tepoztlán
A World Heritage Site located in the state of Morelos, Tepoztlán is one of most visited destinations in the mountains of México, as much for its proximity to Mexico City as for its excellent climate. Tequila, Jalisco
The legendary town of Tequila in Jalisco is known for giving its name to the famous spirit and hosts an annual average temperature of 73 F. One of Tequila’s main attractions is the factory of the renowned brand José Cuervo, which you can reach by train from one of Mexico’s largest cities, Guadalajara, on the ‘José Cuervo Express.’
Xilitla, San Luis Potosí
Named a “Pueblo Mágico” in 2011, Xilitla is located in the mountain region of the Huasteca Potosina in the state of San Luis Potosi. The incredible landscapes all along the municipality of Xixitla are adorned by lavish green mountains and crystal clear springs and it is recognized for its copious wet season as well as coffee and piloncillo production.
